Since 1988, Turfscape has partnered with commercial properties to become Northeast Ohio's leading year-round provider of lawn maintenance and snow removal. We are currently looking to hire a "Fertilization Technician" to our team.
The successful Fert Tech will be responsible for administering chemicals for lawn fertilization, weed and/or pest control, aeration, and overseeing. This position will also assist in the completion of other grounds maintenance and snow removal duties.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lawn Care
- Responsible for driving to and from assigned facilities in company vehicle.
- Apply chemicals for:
- Lawn Fertilization
- Weed Control
- Pest Control
- Aeration
- Overseeding
- Trees/Herbaceous Plants
- When fertilization applications are not needed the Fert Tech will assist with other commercial grounds maintenance responsibilities including but not limited to pruning, mulching, mowing, and plant installs.
- In winter months, performs snow removal duties to include plowing paths and roadways and shoveling snow to clear doorways, fire hydrants, and storm drains. De-Ice grounds as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Experience in the above responsibilities is a plus.
- Pesticide License is a plus.
