John Oleksik – Account Manager

What is your role at Turfscape? 

My role as an Account Manager is to manage a group of properties. Throughout the day I will wear many different hats. Customer service, operations management, selling enhancements, building estimates, handling customers concerns, directing landscape crews, training and developing employees, checking on the quality of work, and still getting my hands dirty when I can.

How long have you worked at Turfscape? 

4 years. I started off as an intern during high school and haven’t left. I enjoy the industry because it gives me the opportunity to work outdoors and Turfscape is the perfect place because of the family orientated nature and their dedication to making a difference in people’s lives.

What industry AND non-industry designations/certifications/degrees do you have?

This spring I will be graduating from Tri-C with a degree in Plant Science & Technology.

What do you enjoy doing when not at Turfscape?

Golf, supporting my favorite Cleveland sports teams, hanging out with my dog, and spending time with my girlfriend.
